Here's a roofing job. We completely removed all of the old roofing, repaired rotted decking, installed new roofing, flashing and a continuous ridge vent. The shingles are a laminated dimensional asphalt product.

This chimney needed a "cricket" or "cricket flashing" behind it to divert the water around to prevent it from pooling behind the chimney and overwhelming the standard flashing. Any chimney situated at the bottom edge of the roof or wider than about 24" should have one of these installed.

Cricket being built. Framed with 2x6, sheathed with 1/2" plywood.

Finished cricket - roofed and flashed. Also new rain caps on the flues.
